As you all might know by now, I’m a fan of varying my workouts. I like to use free weights, machines, body weight and everything else in between. I for sure have some go-to exercises that I almost always do when I’m training a certain muscle group, but I also like to mix and match, fantasize and finding out new things to try. It should also be fun, right!?
The machines in the gym most often come with an instruction on how to use them. Those things are great, and I’m not saying that you shouldn’t do it like the instruction says, but if you’re a little adventurous, innovative and experienced like me, it can be quite fun to see what other things you can do with the machines. Because, believe me, there’s a lot of things that a machine can be good for!
In this video below, I show you how I work my glutes and booty, only using machines, but not using the machines in the way that they’re supposes to be used. Check this video out if you’re curious about how to do your workouts in a new and different way by using gym machines which are purposed for other muscle groups than the booty, and then use it to actually train the booty.
And again – I’m not saying your regular exercises squats and hip-thrusters are bad, not at all, but sometimes you can just get some new motivation and energy by trying out new stuff. 😉
